Insulation
Is anyone out there familiar with Armacell (used to be Armstrong) closed cell insulation? One of their products is NH/Armaflex and it looks like the perfect hull insulator -- flexible, easy to handle and apply, non-absorbant, low thermal conductance and it produces little smoke or noxious fumes if burned (One of two "sweat-stopping" insulators approved by U.S. Navy for use on submarines).
I can''t find a source in the U.S., although Armaflex appears to be a popular product in the heating, ventilation and refrigeration business. Any feedback or source info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
