Fiberglass Hardner

I have been working with West Marine 205 hardner. A friend who gave me some 207 clear hardner after he sold his boat. I use the measure pumps and was wondering if the 205 and 206 are the same ratio to resin mix ?

105 Resin and 205 (fast) hardener as well as 105 resin and 206(slow) hardener are both 5:1 ratio.

105 Resin and 207 (clear) hardener is 3:1 ratio.

Lap, it's pretty hard to screw up with West System- the hardeners use different size pumps, to fit the different size diameter of the mouths of the cans, so you can't screw up the ratio by using the wrong pump.

Statements like that make me sound real dumb. I should have checked for that third pump.

Lap, your honesty is admirable. I would have probably replied, "yes, thank you, I knew that already, do you think i am an idiot?!?."
In any event, in most cases the only difference between a good epoxy job and a bad epoxy job is how much sanding you have to do.
