Automatic tacking with ST4000 Autopilot

My just acquired boat has a Raymarine ST4000 Wheel Autopilot. It is not responding to the automatic tacking command--pressing 1 and 10 degrees simultaneously. The dealer setup does show auto tack at 100 degrees. Any help out there?
