NuTeak

Has anyone experience in installing NuTeak interior teak-holly flooring (http://www.nuteak.com/)? I saw the material at the Seattle Boat Show. It looks pretty good. Better than the ratty teak and holly veneer plywood on my cabin sole. The rep said it was easily installed by someone with reasonable skill.
It goes for about $10 per square foot for the material. About $35 per square foot installed.
Any thoughts? Is it easily installed? How does it last? How does it look?

watched the video does say how it is attached other than laid down flat like you would do for that stuff they use for house flooring. you can't have it just floating in a boat. you would have to lay it on the old sole and the trouble with that is from what i can see is that the joints aren't water tight which means if water does get down below it will pass thru and sit on the old floor. not good

Friends had cork strips with black lines installed on their weatherecks a few years ago, looked like teak from a distance. It still looks like new. We just ordered cork flooring for the saloon and will start the installation next week. This a is solid cork and not an engineered composite. There is a wide variety of colors and patterns. We got ours here Interiors Only Inc., Cork Flooring and Interior Decorating Products in Ontario Canada.

If you do buy the flooring, i'd tear the old flooring out and put cork down, along with a deack sealer. Remember; if you do a bad job now, you'll regret it sooner rather than later
