Tacktick Tri Data for $1400?

Has anyone looked at this closely? I've been casually looking for a wind system this off season and came across this offer. Made me think that our 25 year old depth and speed instruments could be refreshed too at this price. Seems like a great deal, almost too good to be true which makes me a bit nervous. It doesn't appear that these are discontinued models. Any thoughts as to why so cheap?

Um, I have the 104, the only difference I see is you end up having 3 display units instead of two with the 104 and I don't see the NEMA interface head unit, but they are throwing in the compass.

Sailingdog, what say you? Looks like a good deal to me, I actually would have preferred that system to my 104 Sailing pack.

I actually like the T104 package, because I like having the NMEA interface. They do give you a $50 coupon on the NMEA interface.

It is a good setup, and one nice thing is that they give you the triducer, so you only need ONE through-hull.

After looking at these a little closer, I think the difference is that the display units need 12V hardwired, no solar power for these displays.

Tanley, I have a set of tacktick for sale. They are the T108 package with dual display and triducer. These are still new in the box unopened, my plans have changed for the season so these could be a good buy for someone looking for a set. 1700$
