Just repeating the issues that surfaced during my research. I think many of the blow out comments came from Magma Kettle owners since when I was looking, Magma Kettles were the most commonly seen model.

The Newport series is very similar in design to the Dickenson models so they are probably similar in performance. When I bought my grill there was a pretty good price differential though. That may have changed because I think the Newports were just being introduced then and prices may have come down some.

just the two us, and it has legs for shoreside and rail mount for the boat. Good construction quality and works very well...
