Nanotech sealant treatment for gelcoat

Tired of fighting a never ending battle against oxidezed gel-coat I thoght about scaling up the conflict to more technological weapons.

Many are talking about nanotech sealants and polishes based on nanotechnology.
Does anyone hav a firsthand experience or can recommend some products?

Thanks

Scud

I dunno' ...guess so since it's being used for polishing your car wheels and shine the paint and now they use it also for the kitchen and the sanitary ware and the windows.

If I had to take I wild guess I'd say it is safer than any anti-fouling paint that I have sanded in 20 years.

But ..of course ... that's just out of my hat.

The term nanotech is mostly a marketing term that is thrown about to imply that a coating is actually more high-tech and advanced than it probably is. Most of the true nanotech coatings haven't seen their way out of the laboratory yet.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
