sound insulating paint

Anyone here ever use that silent running paint, or others like it (assuming there are some) ? It sounds too good to be true and I don't need to finish that sentence.

Any observations / experience on the stuff would be great.

It works by damping vibration. Its main use is to dampen vibrations in metal structures. If your fiberglass boat vibrates annoyingly I'd guess there are other problems.

the only real way to dampen vibrations is to add mass, like a vibration/sound dampening mat in a car. this would just add weight. as stated above, why are you dampening sounds? dont like the sound of waves against the hull at night?
