I wouldn't recommend mounting a BBQ grill to a single stanchion. The loads it will impose on the stanchion base are rather severe, especially if it is a larger grill. If you really want to do this in spite of that, get a stanchion mount fishing rod holder and then get the BBQ mount that goes in the fishing rod holder...
