Online I don't know. Probably. What's a better bet is to go to your local public library and look for the section with all the SELOC manuals. SELOC has manuals for most outboards and if yours is an older model, the library is likely to have a copy. They're organized usually by brand: there's an Evinrude & Johnson SELOC, I think Mercury & Tohatsu SELOC... just look around or check the catalog.

Is the engine a four-stroke or a two-stroke. That's a major difference and Mercury probably made a 9.8/9.9 in both forms.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Maybe I can help

I downloaded a manual some years ago, unfortunately long enough ago that I can't recall where from. It was a huge document - had ALL models from 2.5hp to 230hp so it probably won't e-mail in it's full form.

So whilst I can't point you to the website, I can isolate that part of the document that covers your OB and e-mail it to you.

If that'll work for you, let me know.
