Deck Moisture problems ....

Hello all, my name is Don. My wife and I are proud owners of a Endeavour 35.5 in the Potomac River area of Virginia. We have had a deck moisture problem that needs to be addressed sooner than later. This is a new problem and I have never had to explore this area of boat repairs. I am writing to see if I could get a bit of help.
I just had an estimate done by a gentleman last week. The price quote he gave me was alot more than I had anticipated. I am looking for references, names, or companies in the Virginia or Maryland area that might want or can handle the job. All recommendations will be contacted. Yes, we need more information. Is it the entire deck, just a few areas? It the deck soft, or just showing moisture on a meter?

As for locals, the only ones I'm familiar with in your area are the contractors at Ft. Washington Marina. I believe there are two fiberglass contractors on site, but I've no personal experience with either of them. You may be able to get some recomendations through the internet - I seem to recall one of the contractors had a better repuation than the other.

Where on the Potomac are you? We keep our Pearson 303 at the Fairfax Yacht Club on the Occoquan.
