O'Day 322 needs help!

Hi All!

Does anybody know who's maker of hatches for O'Day 322 and where to buy? I checked Bomar's but could not find matching. No luck with current line of Lewmar's either.

If you don't get an answer here - google D&R Marine. If your answer isn't on the web site, call them and ask for Rudy.

Might want to call D&R marine in Assonet, MA... IIRC, he worked for O'Day, and bought the rights and much of the stock from the company when O'Day went out of business..

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

The hatches on the 88 Oday 322 we owned where Lewmar's that have been discontinued but I was able to find info on them on the Lewmar site some time ago.

If you just need glazing there is a company that does that but they are not cheap. If the problem is the ratcheting mechanism, then you're probably outta' luck.

Thank you all! I checked D&R website, they do not list hatches. Will try to call Rudy tomorrow. The major problem with the hatch is that it is leaking and I wanted to start with replacing the gasket. It seems that if the hatch is Lewmar's indeed then at least Lewmar's gasket should fit... But it does need glazing as well. The ratcheting mechanism is okay for now.

Found the link.

Lewmar

I believe the hatches you have are "Rollstops" that are no longer produced. You may want to see about gaskets through since the design could well be the same as some of there newer stuff. The other last hope is D&R having some new old stock gaskets laying around.

Good Luck.
