Here's the exerpt from the Canadian regs on radar reflectors:

Does anybody have an Echomaster Deluxe mounted on their backstay? Mine is setup to go up a halyard to a spreader, but I'd rather have it more permanently mounted. The instructions say you can do this, but I can't see how you would assemble it around the backstay without some sort of insert in the middle to prevent it from harming the backstay.
