Rustoleum will scorch at over 200 deg. surface temp. Suggest that you use high temp engine paint, available from auto parts stores in spray cans ... but will scorch on exhaust manifolds.
I used Rustoleum on a Volvo diesel. It works fine if you don''t get it on the exhaust system. Make sure you scrape the old paint off and degrease or the paint won''t stick.
