Check gear case plugs
Suggest checking gear case plugs for tightness or leakage if you haven't already. The screw-in plugs are likely to have some gasket or washer behind them that may have deteriorated allowing gear case oil to leak out. Gear oil should be changed periodically anyway. Of course, any fuel leak dripping overboard can cause a sheen like your photo. In my experience, a suprisingly small amount of oil/fuel will produce a sheen of a size that seems out of proportion to the amount of leakage.
