Where can I get this Genoa Car pin?

Port side is sheared. The cars don't have a Mfg stamp on them, and we aren't the original owner of the boat. Haven't found anything online yet. Any ideas on where to get this or something similar? It's from a 1987 Cal 28.

We will probably need to see a larger perspective in the photos - one that shows the entire car, preferably from various angles.

Also, it would be helpful to know what size track that is, and by whom.

Have you tried Rigrite? They carry hard to find parts for a lot of older systems.

Heading down to the boat tomorrow. I'll snap some more photo's and take dimensions. Thanks for the Rigrite suggestion as well.

From what little we can see it looks like perhaps a Merriman genoa block...

ANother potential is Goiot out of france, as Cal, Oday, jeanneau among other boats at the time were all owned by bangor Punta, and they may have been doing some bulk purchases at the time for ALL the brands they built.

Looks like Nico-Fico. Rig-rite is probably your best source.

Sent this info to rigrite, waiting to hear back. Any other ideas in the interim?

Thanks!

If you drilled the original pin for a finger-sized split ring, it should be serviceable again, you just wouldn't have the "lock up" position that plastic disc and fixed pin provide. And even that shouldn't be too hard to fabricate/find (a piece of plastic that would do the same job)

I assume you have one working version to copy??

The cotter ring is exactly what I was thinking if Rigrite isn't able to provide a replacement. The tip of the pin which extends beyond the car is hollowed out though, so it may not be a permanent solution due to wear.
