Sounds like you might try to rebuild your broken mast with some new Sitka Spruce stock.
There is a great lumber yard up here that carries pretty much every kind of wood species, including Sitka Spruce: Hardwood Lumber
Their description: SITKA SPRUCE
B & Better Grade KD Rough
1”, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2”, 2” and 3” thickness
Widths 8” and Wider x 6’ to 20’ VG
Glued Up Mast Stock and Special Sizes On Request.

Hopefully there is a closer place to you.
