Nicro Vents Or Similar

I need to change an old Nicro 4" solarvent and I'm of course looking for the best price.
Can anybody tell me what is the difference between a Nicro Model N20604S and N20704S or even N20504S. I understand the S for SS, the N for Nicro and the 04 for 4" diam, but they all say 1000 cfh so what is the difference in 5, 6 or 7 as the price is different and nobody sells all models so I don't really no the street price.

T37Chef will become famous soon enough
FWIW Defender.com has a sale going on right now.

I don't know the differences between them off hand, a quick call to Defender and they should be able to tell you. I Have had mine for a few years now and think they are great, you will need to replace the rechargeable POS battery they send with them though, but thats an easy fix.

Be aware

there are a couple of different generation of Nicro power vents. The older ones (close to 300.00) seem to have a better durability reputation although Nicro seemes to be good about replacing the newer ones under warranty. (while in warranty)

There are some threads about them on here...

Here is a thread on mounting a computer "muffin fan". I got all the parts back in Nov. but haven't done the install yet. I may try it this week

Nicro vent install?

model number differences.

My current motor works fine, the solar panel won't recharge my new battery plus I want one exhast and one supply therefore I need to buy a new one.
What is the difference in these model numbers as in my original question.
I know how to fix, or build a new one. I have read the various threads on the internet, but I still don't know what the difference in a N20504 or 604 or 704 is.

See if this helps

Jan Comstedt AB - Ventilatorer

you may have to click translate.

The 20704 can be switched over to your boat's 12v electrical system for more rpm's.
