Recommended oil to lube steering system
All,
I've been trying to find the cause of my very stiff steering and my next steps are to go through the steering gear and lube the chain, cables and sheaves. Everything I've read recommends 30 weight motor oil. Is there another "over the counter" oil that would work as well? Something that I could buy in a hardware store? Thanks!
