Rudder bearing grease?

I did a search; and the most recent post on this was 2004. I am looking for a good recommendation on which type of grease to use; specifically, what brand/type are you using?

I have heard/read that "wheel bearing grease" for boat trailers is OK; but I used a "waterproof" bearing grease on a winch once and it turned to a gummy mess in the presence of saltwater spray. I won't make that mistake again; especially in the rudder tube.

So if someone has a brand/type that has worked well without gumming up in the rudder shaft could you please post it here?

bb32 is on a distinguished road
OMC Tripleguard grease is recommended by Teleflex cable tech support for their outboard steering cable ends because it is specifically designed not to dry out or gum up in salt water. Johnson/Evinrude sells it for the grease points on their outboards. Haven't got any yet but plan to.
