Head/Water System Set up

This is our first season with our 1983 Pearson 303. We have yet to flush out the water/head system. What is the process? Is it basically just open the valve and fill the tank with water? I think the sink has antifreeze in the pipes....we're not that concerned with the sinks, mainly just the head...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Pump out as much of the antifreeze as possible, fill the tanks, flush the residual antifreeze out...shock treat water tanks per Peggie Hall's recommendations, fill with water, go sailing...

The head, if it flushes with raw water, shouldn't be an issue at all. Just use it as you would normally. It would help if you said what head you had, and how it is setup.
