Need Help, looking for a Caretaker

So, I was sailing my boat from Virginia to Florida last week, but it turned in to 4 days of sailing with the wind dead on the nose. We had to fight for every single mile, and eventually my deadline got the better of me and I had to leave the boat in Charleston on the hard. I'll continue my trip later in the year, hopefully when the winds are more favorable.

Anyway, I am deploying to Afghanistan in 2 weeks and am not really comfortable just leaving the boat unattended in an unfamiliar yard.

Is there anyone in the Charleston area who wouldn't mind making a few extra bucks by checking in on my boat once a month or so? It's nothing really too involved, I would just feel a lot more comfortable if a third party would keep the yard honest while I'm away.

Please let me know if you know of anyone who could help me out. Thanks!

Welcome aboard PaulDe. Nice of you to want to help out. However, that post was from back in June--probably taken care of. Still, nice of you.

Regards

Tom
