Rudder repair cont.

I followed everyone''s good advise from last fall, pulled my rudder, took it home, dried it out, consulted West Systems and am now ready to repair the delaminated spots.

New problem: As I was sanding off the bottom paint in the affected areas, I discovered someone has removed all the gel coat from the rudder (except one 2" square). The surface of the entire rudder is bare fiberglass cloth/matt, seemilngly in good shape for a 30 year old rudder. What should I use to coat the rudder with now that it is down to bare glass?

Thanks

West it! Three coats, each within 24 hours of the last. Lightly sand it fair and finish it as you like.
