To repair a leak in my exhaust system i removed the whole deal to inspect/fix all of it. rather than risk snapping the semi rusted nuts that attach it to the engine (pb blaster didnt even help much), i just removed the whole manifold section. while this is off, is there anything i should make sure to inspect/tune/etc before reinstalling?

also, the little hose that connects to the flame arrester broke... if i fabricate my own, what material should i use?
