groco pressure tank installation

Hello All
I just purchased a Groco 1 gallon pressure tank on E-bay which came with no instructions. My guess is I just install in with a t fitting into my existing water system after the par pump and that's all that is required. However I am looking for advice as to whether I need to do anything else - could it really be that simple? Thanks for the reality check
Andy

Are you talking about an accumulator tank?? Yes, it is that simple.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

groco accumulator tank PST-1

Yes - this is an accumulator tank - 1 gallon capacity. I was trying to relate this to the accumulator tank on my well. But the well tank has the pressure gauge and the electronic pump switch. I was thinking that if I hook up the Groco after my par water pump it is just an in-line connection without any additional gauges or hardware - just an in-line accumulator. Do I have this correct?
Thanks
Andy

Yes, all the Groco tank does is sit in line with the pressure pump and IIRC has a membrane in it to help stabilize the pressure in the water system and reduce the pump cycling.

My boat had one in it when I bought it 13 years ago. My water system worked OK, so I never messed with it. A few weeks ago I was having a problem, so I checked the tank. Turns out it has a air valve on top that looks like a tire valve. I went on Grocos' site, and they said to check the pressure regularly with a tire pressure guage for 28-30 lbs. Mine was 8-10, so I pumped it up with a bicycle pump.
I don't know why they don't include this in their instructions, but its on their website.
