Simrad TP10

I''m thinking of buying a tillerpilot for my Cape Dory 26. The cheapest one I can find is the Simrad TP10. It lacks any sort of electronic hookup potential, but that doesn''t really bother me at the moment as I don''t have that potential anyhow. Does anyone out there have experience with this model tillerpilot? Does it work reasonably well on a sailboat? Any ideas or thoughts or suggestions about this tillerpilot will be greatly appreciated.

I use a TP10 on my Catalina 27. I have not had any problems. Keep in mind that if you want to interface with GPS/software later you will have to buy a different AP. TP10''s are easy to use. Make sure you install it in a way you will be happy with...
