HERON BOND WOOD varnishing
Friends can anyone suggest the fundamentals of varnishing. The old girl needs a spruce up and when i tried to repair parts of her the same nice dark wood grain appearance is not coming through as it is in the original.
Could the original varnish gone over some sort of wood stain preparation.She''s a great old girl 40yr infact and she deserves a bit of a facelift for the fun generated
