Side mount pictures

As I'm allowed to post pictures now, I've attached the photos I took of the engine mount on my Soling for greater clarity.

I hope you have some serious backing plates on that for the outboard mount. There's a lot of force on the outboard motor mount both vertically and horizontally.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

It's pretty sturdy and well crafted with proper backing. I didn't take any photos as I was just too lazy at the moment to crawl in. It's an example of a good solution and alternative to a rear mount.

Happy Soling-ing!

Considering that "Tondus" hasn't been heard in 4+ years, don't hold your breath waiting for an answer to your inquiry.

"It is not so much for its beauty that the sea makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air, that emanation from the waves, that so wonderfully renews a weary spirit."
