Need suggestions for mast chocks

I'm in Rarotonga and have limited time and facilities. Our mast chocks (partner chocks) need replacement. One is falling apart the other now too small after 5000nm at sea. Does anyone have a suggestion of what I could use to replace them. They need to be firm rubber, at least half an inch thick, and about 1'' x 4''. There is a building supply store, auto parts store, and everything else you'd expect to find in a town of around 10,000 people. Much thanks for everyone's suggestions.

Why don't you just use a car tire until you can get the "corrrect fitting - just what is a correct mast partner fitting? I've seen rags, polysulfides, 5200, a mess of silicone!

Sew a mast boot out of a piece of sailcloth.
