Chimney Cut-out?

On the starboard side of my boat--directly in front of the cockpit on top of the cabin there is a raised circle.... im wondering if that was designed to be a cut out for a stove's chimney? If so the 'cutout' would lead directly into the galley. Anyone have one of these, or maybe can confirm/discount my thinking?

thanks guys

It's a base for mounting a winch and leading lines aft. I have 2 with winches on them. The heater should be on the aft side of the main bulkhead if you install one.
