I have a couple of favorite spots i always seem to sit/lie on... so one cushion is developing a print of my arse. is there anyway to fluff this up? add a piece of that eggshell foam stuff to the existing cushion? i thought about sticking an air compressor in there...

Try filling it wih a mix of plastic beans and loose foam. Adjust to fit your butt. My wife made bean bag seats for our boat as well as a friends and used that mix with success. You can buy both at any fabric store.

While ours don't resemble a typical bean bag chair they feel the same. The wife made ours out of outdoor material along with matching pillows so we stay very comfortable

The bean bag thing is becoming increasingly popular but the clean up should the thing burst can not be pretty.

Mickolas Quinn...if your arse is imprinting on your cushions you are either due for a diet or the foam is not of an appropriate density. An additional layer of heavy density foam underneath might be the go, alternatively all new foam of a higher grade.

That's why you use an inner liner Plus when the covers need to be cleaned you remove the inner bag and launder, dry clean or whatever.

What about a thin layer of memory foam inside?

Or can you swap the cushion with another similar one on occasion?

Don't stick an air compressor in there - I'm betting that could be fatal. Not a good idea in the cushion either.

har t har har.... im a buck fifty soaking wet, and as for the air compressor that is strictly a one way street. cant swap the cushion, they are custom cut... i like the memory foam idea, and the bean bag deal. maybe ill make a bean bag out of a pillow cushion, then can protect any cushion from said imprint....
