How to clean a frozen log paddle wheel?

Hi, I have a Raymarine paddle wheel which has frozen - any suggestions on how to clean/unfreeze it? I've tried soaking in vinegar and baking soda with no effect. Any ideas? Thanks.

vinegar and baking soda mixed, cancel ea. other out, vinegar = acidic, baking soda = alkaline.

vinegar alone will de-calcify the part if that's the problem.

"CLR" (brand name) would probably work better.

Soda like coke, pepsi.
I knife and bleech + 5 minutes
your shipmate's toothbrush
fingernail and determination

Or just take it out after using it so it doesn't get dirty in the first place.
