Where to get tiller hardware?

I have a 14'' Newport, similar to a sunfish. I am redoing it and I need the hardware for the tiller, so that I can attach the tiller to the boat. Can anyone Please help me?
Thanks
Scott

Typically on boat that size the tiller hardware was simply a pair of SS straps that can be purchased almost anywhere. On the other hand, some boats like the Sunfish used a proprietary system that incorporated the tiller into the kick up rudder system and so you would need to try to track down an OEM piece of hardware which I suspect would be next to imposible to do. Without knowing more about your boat it is hard to be more specific.

or if it''s that similar to a sunfish, you could just get the hardware for a sunfish (rudder head and gudgeon). You can get all the parts seperately and keep your old blade. If that''s the route you want to go visit www.teamvanguard.com for dealers in your area.
