Getting at the bottom of my Day Sailer
Hey Folks,
My Javelin came into my possession with what looks like three or four layers of bubbling, peeling, chalky blue bottom paint. since she's a trailer sailer, and won't be moored, I'm thinking of stripping the paint this fall and repainting the bottom side of the boat a solid color in spring.
Right now, all 450-ish pounds of her are sitting in my driveway on her trailer, and I don't have much in the realm of ideas on how to get her curvy-side-up. Should I just grab a bunch of friends to manhandle her off the trailer and onto some sawhorses, or is there a more complex/elegant/simple bit of jiggery-pokery that I could employ?
