Recently found that the altuglas(44"x26") over the galley is showing the wear of time, was hoping there were other idylle owners who have had same problem and what was their solution. I thought about replacing with a hatch, but the size is not standard. There is a piece of wood, about the size of a 2x4 which runs through center of glass on the inside, i don't know if this is support for the glass, or has some structural support for the boat itself, beneteua has not answered, so i threw out this thread hoping to find someone who knows the particulars on this production. any thoughts would be appreciated.
