Lexon Hatch on ''''79 S2 9.2a

We had an mishap during crane-in and broke the sliding Lexon hatch. Any suggestions on how to go about replacing this? It has a slight curve to it with rabbited track edges. Which are now broken off.

Thanks for any help.

Lexon Hatch on ''''79 S2 9.2a

That sounds expensive to replace but a good marine plastics place can fabricate a form and make a replacement. The rabbet is cheap its the curve that will cost you. I don''t know where you are located but Chesapeake Marine Plastics in Annpolis could probably help you. Also, I understand that Slikkens (I am not sure of the spelling) the parent company of S2 is still in business and might be able to help you.
