Columbia 29 Stuffing Box

I have a friend with a Columbia 29 (and no computer) that needs new packing in the stuffing box. He maintains he has to have the yard remove the 2 stroke Yanmar to get to it. Is this true? He will appreciate any help. Does anyone know the size.
Thanks
Derek

If your friend does a search on the words -- stuffing box -- or -- shaft log -- he''ll find thousands of pages of helpful information. Here''s a good one by a former yard manager who really spills the beans on how easy it is.
