Westerbeke w30 parts?

Looking for a new or rebuilt fresh water pump and pulley cap for my westerbeke w30 engine.
part number 17909 pump
part number 13862 pulley cap. Does anyone know where to get one other than the factory since it costs $720. Thanks

I've used Discount Marine Source

They have cheap shipping and a little better price. The only problem with them is they are often slow to ship. I use them for parts I don't need right away.

I agree with Marc 2012. The Westerbeke 4-91 and W-30 are marinized versions of the British Leyland B-Series diesel. You could just google "Leyland Tractor Parts" and probably find a bunch of places that could help you, or maybe even find one on E-Bay.
Best regards
Ian

I know his thread is a couple months old, but just in case - The water pump can be had really inexpensively from ASAP-SUPPLIES in the UK. As can a great many parts for the W30. Its the same engine as the BMC1.5. Westerbeke added on a few marinized parts of their own design like the exhaust manifold, but most parts and internals are the same.

The water pump changed over the years. I found the best way to tell was by the number of bolts on the cap along with the diameter of the impeller. You can also look in the manual and there should be a list of changes and dates - from that you can figure it out as well. My '81 used the 4 hole 70mm impeller. Go to asap-supplies and then do a search on BMC 1.5 Water Pump - Currently out of stock, but they can get it for you.

Water Pump on Westerbeke 4-91 , aka W30

The water pump on the Westerbeke 4-91, aka W30 is a Jabsco pump. If you call jabsco with the Westerbeke part number, they will give you their number. Maybe you can then google it for another source. I ordered it from West Marine and it about half the Westerbeke price; but it took a long while. The West Marine special order desk
can be reached at 888-888-3221. Give them the Jabsco part number for a quote and availability report.
