holding tank removal

I recently purchased a Catalina 30 (built in 1982) and have found that the head''s holding tank is leaking, apparently from underneath. Inspecting the area around the tank, I see three fiberglass "boards" tightly snugged up against the forward, aft and outboard walls of the tank - all permanently glassed in. It seems impossible to remove the tank without cutting one of these retaining boards out. Any suggestions on removing the tank?

I had to remove the leaking fuel tank from my Capri 30 last fall. I used the Dremel Tool. I cut the fiber-glass tape just above where it makes the turn off the hull to the flange on the forward and aft ends of the tank. For the cutting tool I think I used one of the little taperd grinding bits and I may have used the flat cutting wheels, the one they show on TV for cutting nails & such. I have done a lot of work on my boats. that I have no idea how I would have gotten it done with out the "Dremel.

I have the same task ahead of me, how did you get the tank out?
