Racor Identity Crisis
Looking at the Racor on my 2002 Catalina 320 I'd assumed it was a 220 model. I'd had a pre-delivery service done before making the 400 mile trip home last August. Looking a little closer I now see it has an R15 filter as used on the 215 series instead of the R24 filter used on 220 series.
Anyone know how to tell if it's a 215 or 220?
I'll be back on the boat tomorrow and can see if there is anything in the books, I don't recall any ID markings on the filter housings.
How long have the 215 series been around anyway, aren't they new replacements for the 220?
