Painting the hatch

I'm not sure if I'm using the word right, but door that slides out to let you into the cabin, it has paint on the underside of it which is flaking. I know i need to scrape and repaint, but is there a special type of paint I need to use? Or can I use any white paint?

Any paint that will work on fiberglass (assuming it is fiberglass). Interlux brightside is a good choice, but many kinds will work.
