need Allmand 31 keel info

Does anyone know the composition of the keel?

Is it lead covered with fiberglass?

Is it one molded piece or is it bolted onto the hull?

All the original brochure states is that it is internal ballast and glassed over to form a "double bottom". My guess is that it is not lead or they would have bragged about it.
