Has anybody heard or tested the Laser Flares?
It is a kind of maglite flashlight, with a laser pointer. Instead of emiting a
line light, it seems it emits a fan of light, which is seen from 16 miles away as a brillant red flash

They indicate that replaces traditional pyrotechnic flares, are reusable, operate with 2 AA battery, etc, etc. Everything nice.
