PropArmor

Anyone tried this product. In the process of stripping the bottom and will be installing a new KIWI to replace the fixed 2 blade. Looks interesting but I don't want to pay $100 for a can of beeswax.

P.S. Anyone considering Nuteak installation in ct. talk to me before you let them near your boat.

I have no experience with Prop Armor, but had excellent results with Pettit's Barnacle Barrier, which comes in a spray can. My prop came out of the water at the end of the season as clean as I've ever seen it. I normally don't get barnacles, but do get some kind of biological coating.

Long story short: I'm sticking with the Barnacle Buster, as are some other folks in the boat yard. One of my concerns is that the zinc in Barnacle Buster is protecting my MaxProp, which I had rebuilt a couple of years ago after significant pitting occurred. BTW, the prop is now in its 21st year.
