... oh, and beat this: Found a bunch of expired flares on by new-to-me boat. Mostly 3-4 years out of date. However, one expired in 1973! My boat wasn't even built until 1975!
How old is 'expired'? I recall someone saying it is something like 2 years past the date on the package. Am I making this up or is this true? It'd be sorta like the "sell by" date on milk...a few days before the "smell by date" in my book.
