Marine Head Question

Just de-winterized the boat (1984 Newport 33) and took it out for the first time this season. Noticed that the marine head is filling with water when we are sailing unless I close off the intake. If we are not underway it does not do this, any ideas? Thanks

Make sure the selector is set yto drain not flush and ensure that your anti-siphon valve is clear. Attach a hose over the valve and blow... Blow not suck.

As SVPR says, make sure the selector is in the "pump dry" position otherwise water can siphon in when heeling and putting the head below the waterline.
