Halyard attachment.

I love the used mainsail I got from Bacon's last year and only used a few times before season's end. The halyard attachment was on the second hole aft. When using said sail I've had problems with too much twist. Last week I opened the first hole on the headboard and WaLa! Sail sets way way better and way less twist! Little things.. mean allot..

Yes they can!

Usually the hole you use in the headboard is dictated by how the halyard drops out of the exit sheave. On a previous boat the sheave was quite proud of the mast track and using the forward hole pulled the slugs out of the track.

It's all in the details......
