Perko Ball Valve Bronze Seacocks

Anyone know these? It says they come with thru hull attached.. So how do you install it then? Any thoughts on these? I was going to go marelon then I saw these and wanted to check them out first.

Member mainsail has made a great guide on installing them which i followed



My boat was just surveyed this week and the guy liked the install following Mainsails guide

Just installed Groco seacocks all the way around. I recommend it if you have the old ball valve or your handles are rusted. The way i understand it, water coming in them holes is bad news so i figured i'd spend the extra effort and money doing it right.

May I ask what sealant you used as well as the material of your backing plate?

The plate is G10 which is and epoxy material and its held down with a mix of thickened epoxy
