One good thing I'll say for the digital age-

You can buy a Droid X smartphone and cram an entire household's worth of books to read, music and videos, Nuti-Charts and tide tables in the palm of your hand.

I just finished tidying up all of the DC wiring, and installing a stereo on the boat. I can connect the phone to the stereo for unlimited music. This will go a long way to keeping guests entertained, and providing a little background music to dinner on the hook. Uses very little power, takes up almost no room which is vital on a 25' boat.
