Merriman Steering Pedestal

Hi,

We have a Cal 2-29 with a Merriman Steering Pedestal that needs the top most piece replaced or repaired -- the part where the throttle and shift controls attach. I know that Merriman has been out of business for years and the part is hard to find, but I'd like to hear from someone who has either had the part made (source please) or has repaired the part.

What kind of damage is there?

The damage is that the guide that contains the control wire for the throttle has snapped off.
